Modern watches for men in market

In olden days, men used pocket watches in World War I. But they found it difficult to see time. So they started using wrist watch. Since then, it has become fashion accessory for men.  In fact, the first wrist watch created was called as Santos. It was named after a pilot who asked the watch makers to create one for him to see time in flight.  In olden days, it was the only way to know time. But with the invention of cell phone, this perspective has changed as time can be tracked by cell phone and is available for all, at lower prices. This made every wrist watch manufacturer to create new designs and introduce them into market as men’s fashion watches.



Many types:

There are many types of fashion watches that are suitable for various occasions like normal watches, sports watches, occasional or formal watches and many more. The manufacturers are introducing many new designs in the market. The designer watches have gems or stones in it and this makes the product more expensive. Metallic strap watches are popular for men. Some of the men’s fashion watches are made of facetted sapphire.

New design in the market:

Geek watches are the fashion accessories of men that are in the market. Their basic function is not only to show us time, but it have many other features like satellite navigation, and some computer features. Faceless watch is a type of watch which has no dial. It just looks like a stainless steel bracelet. When you press a button that is on one of its sides, time is displayed as red LEDs in between the links. If you want to know date, you have to press another button.

Click keypad watch is a type of watch that has keypad in place of dial. If you want to know time, the number is highlighted when you press any button. When you press hash, you can see the display of date. Other modern watch is caller id watch. When you receive any call to your cell phone, this watch vibrates and shows you who are calling. This is suitable for those who don’t want to keep cell in hand always.
